Living on my own again is a very strange experience.
Advantage
I can have loud light swinging, wardrobe hoping sex without worrying about sound travelling through the dividing wall, which appears to be made from woven air and dust particles.
Disadvantage
I still need someone to actually have sex with
Advantage
I can fall in drunk and play hallway pinball and not worry about waking anyone
Disadvantage
No one gets up to check the Yogi position that I pass out in, while trying to open my bedroom door.
Advantage
I don’t get woken up in the morning when Dr McRide goes to work.
Disadvantage
I don’t get woken up in the morning when Dr McRide goes to work, hence I don’t wake up for work.

Nobody steals my food

I can’t steal food from anyone else

I don’t need to worry about my state of dress when walking around the apartment

I have caused at least one medical emergency in No. 22 (facing apartment) by forgetting to dress appropriately before opening the living room curtains

My friends can call over whenever they like.
Disadvantage
Now that Dr McRide isn’t here to drool about my friends have no interest in calling over.

I don’t have to worry about Dr McRide being drunk or sober when I get home.
Disadvantage
Drunk or sober sometimes coming home to someone is better than no one

Having, as you know, lived with Jenny for many epochs, this is a situation I’m only in when Herself goes on a drunken jolly, sorry work trip somewhere. I think the weirdest thing is just not having someone to talk to, to share everything that’s happening to me, and have a good laugh or rage about it.
Advantage: A lot less washing up.
Disadvantage: I have to cook all the meals.

lol, i like the yogi position and the living room curtain. hehehe. I know what you mean though, I had a severely drunken lodger for a short while once, and i must say i was glad he went but it was a bit tooo quiet once he did. onwards and upwards flirty!!
